Our mission
crypto.net.ng exists for one reason: to give Nigerians clear, locally relevant information about cryptocurrency. We are not a brokerage, not an exchange and not a custodian. We do not hold your money, your keys or your data. What we do is read regulations, test platforms, talk to real traders across the country and put together the best guides we can produce on how to use crypto safely in 2026 Nigeria.
Editorial policy
- Independence: rankings are editorial. We never accept payment to promote an exchange above another.
- Affiliate disclosure: some outbound links to exchanges and apps are referral links. We may earn a commission at no cost to you. This is disclosed on every page.
- Sources: regulatory statements come from the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria, the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit and the Federal Inland Revenue Service.
- Corrections: if you spot something inaccurate, email support@crypto.net.ng and we will update within 48 hours.
- No financial advice: our content is education, not investment guidance. Trading crypto is risky and you can lose money.
How we test exchanges
Every exchange we mention has been tested against five criteria: licensing footprint, NGN on-ramp quality, KYC speed for Nigerian users, fee transparency and historical incident record. We weight ease of NGN deposit and withdrawal heavily because most of our readers want to move between naira and USDT efficiently, not chase exotic derivatives.
Who writes here
The team behind crypto.net.ng is a small group of Nigerian-based writers and researchers who have been active in the local crypto community since 2017–2019. We have all bought, sold and lost money in this market, which is why our writing is practical rather than promotional.
